Congratulations to Sonny on a fantastic opening night as "Gavroche" in "Les Miserables at the Queens theatre.

Congratulations to Charlie, one of our Saturday student helpers who has successfully auditioned for a place at The Central School of Speech and Drama and will be starting in September.

Can we also wish all the best to Tom Lagdon, who has now left as manager of The Ark Theatre and wish him every success for the future. He will be sadly missed

Thanks to all to great audiences we had for our reception, year one and two production of Sleeping Beauty. Weren’t the children fantastic!

Many thanks also to our Friday students who provided the entertainment for the Meryfield staff end of year party. It was much enjoyed by everyone.

Our cabaret evening on 3rd May was a great success. The Friday students entertained us brilliantly with solos, group and ensemble songs and dances, while the audience also enjoyed a fish and chip supper. We were able to give a cheque for £450 to Meryfield to help with the refurbishment of the hall. Many thanks to Ellis for coming down from Manchester to help us out by being a great compere and to  Hayley and Matt, two ex -students for each performing a song for us.

Congratulations to Timeea on being awarded a dance scholarship to Mill Hill County High School  in September. We are all very proud and know she will do really well there.


Singing in Tesco at Christmas raised £441.00 for Guide Dogs For The Blind. Not bad for just under two hour’s singing. Well done everybody who joined in!


We took part in The Rotary Club’s Christmas Concert for charity and the children once again gave a much talked-about performance.
